u cant downgrade to 3.55 because your factory fw in 3.56 , u cant go lower than you factory fw ..

in that thread i gave a link to it says

With this method we can install CFW (FOR NOW ONLY CFW 4.30 E3) without do a downgrade process from any OFW superior or inferior to 3.55 but not superior to 4.30. ( PS3 WITH 4.31 OFW FOR NOW IT’S NOT POSSIBLE, YOU POSSIBLE BRICK IF YOU TRY). WARNING: This method is VALID only for consoles with minimum OFW 3.56 with no metldr2.

Nicolas19, u sometimes got us confused to...nothing wrong with it though...but hey u cannot go from OFW4.31 for now...all this works until 4.30! then it should be breeze


editedit: ofcourse for anyone reading...we ment OFW4.31 not working with the new Tree Musketeer patches, old way is fine for any OFW

maybe once a higher cfw comes out ,it might be different and u will be able to , just have to wait and see
