Problem with Remarry using Baileyscream guide
So I've successfully followed the Baileyscream guide to get to 3.55 from 4.21 OFW.
The issue I'm having is trying to remarry the bluray drive. I've still got the original downgrader bin flashed to my E3 Card reader that I used to get into FSM and install 3.55. This firmware doesn't allow any video output, so I can't see anything on the screen when in FSM to run the remarry files from the USB stick. Could someone tell me if there's a different firmware / hex you have to flash to the e3 card reader to get into FSM at this point? Everything I read talks about downgrading to 3.50 or 3.41 and since I have not dehashed yet, I really don't want to end up with a brick. |

Baileyscream - I appreciate you taking the time to reply personally. I'm ashamed to admit that as it turns out, I didn't need to remarry the drive to the board. In my haste to put it back together I forgot to flip down the blu ray ribbon cable clip - and it was loose in the connector.
So when I reseated the cable I was able to enter QA mode normally and all was well. As an aside note - the downloads for the E3 card reader on www.e3-tech.net are taken down. The text and info is there, but the link has been removed. This was causing a great deal of frustration, but it worked itself out in the end. I appreciate all the help from the community over the last 18 hours - and the replys from both of the owners of the E3 downgrade methods replying personally to my posts. It's great to see such a strong and active community and the willingness of people to help out n00bs like myself. A mishap on upgrading my HDD with Assassin's Creed 3 in the drive nuked my 4.21 Rogero install and put me on 4.21 OFW. With the aid of the E3 card reader, an E3 flasher, and support from guys like you I was able to save my setup and get back to normal within a day. Much love. |

Oh I see that now. Was a bit misleading to me as it stated flasher files and not reader specifically.
Thanks for clearing that up. Hopefully this will help others as well. |

I also will be using an e3 reader for FSM and this thread helped!! Any help with the OFW would be great. Thanks |
