Unhappy My console is bricked....!! again.

So i was trying to downgrade my ps3 back to 3.55 from rebug rex 4.21.2 and loaded the downgrade pup from my ps3 hdd but when it started updating,my ps3 went into an update loop and wont install the downgrader pup and i have done this over 20 times and dowgraded over 50 consoles, and anythiong i do it wont complete the install so i fiitted my e3 flasher which i have loads of experince with it.now when i tried to restore my console with my over 10 valid backups some are 4.21 and 3.55 backups it refuses to restore my console it gives me error 10000101,which is the clips are not fitted correctly but i know that i have fitted everything correctly cause i tested it numerous times, and even did a backup which it backup successfully but when it comes to restoring it start and then fails on the first blue light, can someone tell me what the hell am i doing wrong cause i really think that the reason why its not restoring is because of rebug customization of core os which has two lv2 files in it and the dex lv2 files appears only when i do a backup with the e3 but its not in the backups i did through multiman.... @playerkp420 @Bigbones87 ...plz help!!!!

That error is it failed to read the E3 Nor.

Make sure you have the switches correct.

I'm passing this on to playerkp420. He's the man when it comes to this, and I have almost no experience in the whole new cfw/downgrading.pup stuff....because I'm still on good ol 3.55. . I have a second Jailbroke ps3 that is on 4.30 cfw, but I haven't ever messed with reverting back to old cfw since I already have a 3.55. Good luck tho man. I'm sure playerkp420 will get ya through this.

But I do have the switches the switches correct, first switch up and the others down which is to restore my backup and I also tried to use the one key downgrade trick but its still falling..and in the output log it shows that it starts to flash the backup but stops down the line and gives me 10000101.so the thing is if am doing everthing right and it still gives me that error which is failed to read the e3 nor and I knw that am trying to flash the ps3 nor and all switches are in the correct position then the e3 board is bad, cause the e3 clip is new,I just bought it.so can u confirm that?....cause everything is setup corretly.

Yeah, Sounds like something with the flasher.

Inspect the prongs and solder points, maybe something is bent. I have had them move on me, and have to slide them back.

I guess the only way to be sure, would be solder the linker correctly. If it errors then with the switches correct, it would be the flasher. I think.

If the flashing doesn't give you errors. I think for your PS3 to boot off the e3 nor, you need the wire soldered from SBCE to point A, after cutting the trace between A and B. If you don't already.

Ok. So it is doing the proper function. it says:
read 0:bkpps3.bin at 0x002D8000 ... OK.
write PS3 BIOS at 0x002D8000 ... OK.
read 0:bkpps3.bin at 0x002E0000 ... OK.
erase PS3 BIOS at 0x002E0000 ... failed.
Program Nor failed.
It has done that to me before when the clip loosened from the clip after the board got hot. The mobo gets hot and the tape loosens.

EDIT - But the error I always got was :
Code:
1 0 0 0 1 1 1 1 Failed to write PS3 BIOS Check pads / clip at PS3 board check may not be properly seated
or
Code:
1 0 0 0 1 1 1 0 Failed to erase PS3 BIOS Check pads / clip at PS3 board check may not be properly seated
