and a few minutes later the sharp increase fan speed PlayStation and excessive heating system

might be a problem with the gpu?

If your console is getting hot, and the fan speed is increased, you need to uninstall the flasher and replace the thermal compound.

Since you are past the flashing part, you don't need the flasher installed to finish.
Clean all the old compound off the heat sinks and heat shields, with Isoproyl alcohol. Then put new compound (artic silver 5) on them.

The system should stay cool enough for you to finish the guide, after that.

i have the rsame problem i am stuck on the connect ur controller scree ii dont want to downgrade anymore i want to update to thr latest ofm but it always gives me an error the last time i touched my ps3 was months ago so i don not remember wthe error number?

is there any chance to update without downgrade i don't have the dongle which is supposed to get theconsole to fsm.
