Orbis contains eight Jaguar cores at 1.6 Ghz, arranged as two “clusters”

Can someone tell me (if they can of course, since the info is kinda limited right now)
Why 4GB for OS? Isnt that a bit much?

The more ram the better.

Nah, all the rumours point to Durango having 8GB and Orbis having 4GB, but apparently the Durango ram is much slower.

Not so bad... I'll ***** about ram later...
But look. If this CPU will have this 100 GFLOPS theoretically it'll be FASTER or the same as Intel core i7 overclocked to 5ghz.... Well it'll have eight cores compared to intels four, but this is a console, so devs will use it's full power. Graphics is only O.K it yelds the same TFLOP performance, wchich is the same as radeon 7850, maybe not as high end, but still nice. I would say comparable to RSX at ps3's launch.
And I'm starting *****ing right about now....
YOU ****ING STUPID SONY!!! Overall this will cost like only one third of ps3 at launch, or less ( ONE proccesor, APU, bd drives are now cheap). BUT ****ING SONY WON'T PUT ENOUGH RAM ONCE AGAIN!!!! I know this is faster than ddr3 but it doesn't make for it's lesser amount ! GIVE LIKE AT LEAST 6 GB FOR GODS SAKE!!! And this 4 gb i SHARED beetwen cpu and gpu...

Tbh I can't complain much about the ram since I've already saw what the PS3 was capable of with only 256/512mb RAM. It's obvious the tech works differently on consoles then.
