Hi everyone,
I hope this forum is what I think it is. I recently bought a used very clean, unopened PS3 with 4.31 firmware on ebay and I'm curious as to what I can do with it. I have totally been getting the old run around on the net. No more @$%#^$&$&& surveys. What a scam!! Took me an hour to clean all the crap out of my computer. some guy is even charging $12.00 to get on a list to get the jailbreak for 4.31 when it comes out. Geees!. I don't think so. Don't know if there is or will be a jailbreak for 4.31. I don't know that much about it yet. anyhow, everyone have a good day and i need to learn a lot. chuckb01

I'm in the U.S. Isn't 50 pounds like $5.00 in real money? never mind. anyhow I'm a retired electronic tech with a lot of "pirating" experience. Free sat TV for years. And a lot of communication mods. so I'm not about to pay anyone on the net to do it for me. I may have to pay for a piece of equipment or two but if you shop around, you can get it pretty reasonable, without surveys. Anyhow, in my years, I have found the net is just full of crooks. nothing meant toward anyone out here in this forum of course. Thanks for the replies, i appreciate it.
