Thanks for the response! Also when flashing the 3.55 CFW do you have to flash it safe mode?

Doing it from recovery mode is recommended, although most newer CFW's (not 100% sure about 3.55) have been tested for XMB installation, so you could install from XMB too.

Basically either way is fine, but recovery is recommended.

I have been using this CFW for about a week, and was used installbdemu because I did not own any retail BD discs at the time. However, I now own a copy and am attempting to remove the installbdemu flag because I no longer need it and want to increase the compatability.

I have removed the installbdemu flag from the folder (did so after its first use) and used "ResetCore.pkg", running it after installation. However, bdemu is still being called. How can I reset all flags to their original setting, or remove bdemu?

EDIT: Figured it out. I notice that the language was that the flag would be "permanently installed," so I simply hunted down the flag and deleted the file "BDEMU" from "DEV_REWRITE," as it would not delete from "DEV_FLASH." Now it works! It seems like there should be an easier way to do this, though.
