You needed an old version of skygo and xcon installed, you also needed to edit the metadata.plist to correspond with the firmware you were currently on.

Since restoring I'm not sure if sky managed to force users to update as I stopped using the app.

Anyone else with repo.hackyouriphone.org getting cydia error 'problem parsing dependancy conflict' blah blah localiapstore blah blah? WHat is that all about? Getting this on all my devices with that repo on, regardless of installed apps and tweaks. Seems to be a problem at the repo's end.

Yes, I read up on the error and tried fixing with 'apt-get update' and nothings fixed.

Also tried update 'apt 0.7 strict' under expert mode, nothing is fixing it.

@toolz only if your baseband is supported, or you can downgrade or preserve a baseband that can be unlocked.

Not yet I'm afraid, exploit only works on iPhone 4 and below. Your only option would be a factory unlock service, this is the cheapest I could find that is confirmed to be legit by Redsn0w.

Thanks for the response. I also have a 3s can that be unlocked if it's jailbreak if so is there a tut on this.

I just removed hackyouriphone repo and icon pack. Installed mobile terminal and apt 0.6 transitional in cydia. I used icleaner from cydia to clean everything. selected yes to everything in the options. Then ran mobile terminal, typed su root, entered password. typed apt-get update to update the packages of my good sources that were removed by icleaner. Hackyouriphone doesn't have anything i can't find elsewhere so not too bothered lol.

You can't preserve your baseband for a 4s. Limera1n exploit won't work on that bootrom. Pod2g and the DevTeam are working on the 4s basebands again now that Evasi0n is done. Check their twitter or forums for more info.

Yes 3gs can be unlocked. You can jailbreak your 3gs in several ways, depending on what IOS you are on.

Once jailbroken you can install ultrasn0w from cydia to unlock.

If you want to update your 3gs to a newer IOS and you are on any of the basebands listed here:

You could update to a newer IOS while preserving your baseband by using redsn0w.
