General Question regarding backup/ access assets from games
my noob question 1:
When backing up a game (i.e. on a flash drive) from a non-jailbroken, unhacked ps3-slim (newest firmware) via sonys backup tool - can the contents of the game (assets such as music, video, textures tec.) be accessed from an external OS (in my case Linux mint, or win, or OSX) or is the backup encrypted / limited to work only within the ps3 it came from ? Also, what are the most common tools for extracting ps3 related archive formats ?
