PS3 Power Supply Connector broke from the Mobo
So, I was dis-assembling this console,CECH-L04 VER-001 Motherboard.
I disconnected the power supply cable from the motherboard and bam, the connector was on the cable. The pad was not removed So, I applied some flux, re-soldered it back. There are no lights. Any idea ? @Mr.Dutch ![]()

do you have a meter to check if the 5V reach the board? EDIT: @MJ999 , btw with no light you mean not even a standby led? also measure resistance between the 4 solder points (pins that are next to each other) and all the pins to ground if there's not a short. obvious pin 3 is ground, pin 2 is technically ground? Yep, I will measure that. EDIT : @Mr.Dutch So, I checked for continuity between those 3 points, found out 1 pin ( Black ) does not have continuity whereas 2 & 4 ( Orange ) have continuity

did you try to bridge those points with a wire, looking at the trace between them they should be connected right?
judge the trace yourself, and if you also think those two points should be connected then bridge them. ![]() also measure point 1 to ground if there isnt a short, the solder looks abit like it would short. |

P.S if possible measure voltage between pin1 to pin 2 (or/and pin3) on standby mode i'm curious what you read. |
