You cannot solder any hardware flasher onto the testpoints, it won't work.

You can't use the testpoints but you can solder it directly to the nands or use the alternatives points. I can't confirm that it works yet, maybe next week, but a lot of people use the alternatives points so it must work.
You can find the alternatives points in the ps3devwiki for the SEM-001 board and for the COK-002 (there are 3 points that you will have to solder directly to the nand). (Delete the spaces) All the alternatives points for the SEM-001: ww w.ps3 devwiki.com/images/9/9f/SEM-001-NANDs-boardtraces-jestero.jpg Almost all alternatives poitns for the COK-002, only 3 missing: ww w.ps3 devwiki.com/images/a/a3/Boardcok002.jpg The rest NAND points and for the COK-001 here: ww w.ps3 devwiki.com/images/c/ca/PS3_DualNand_Retail_ProgSkeet.png And all information is in the ww w.ps3 devwiki.com/wiki/Hardware_flashing This is all I know about this, if someone can tell us more information it will be much appreciated. Sorry for my bad english. |
