hello i got a big problem ,

i am downgrading my ps3 but the usb ports dont work ..
on the tv it says "connect ps3 controller"
but the ps3 dongle or usb or controller , nothing works in the usb ports ?
need help me pls

if you only had a external powered usb hub, i'm wondering if this would work.
but problems like this this are not my territory...

but i have normal usb ports and e3 card reader and normal mp3 player format to fat 32

did you put the proper screws in the right place cos if you didnt you can f\/ck your usb ports.

do you have still anything attached to the ps3 (like the e3 flasher) , that can get in the way?

maybe the flasher still needs to be connected, but i don't know nothing about flashing.

only if it's a 60GB ps3 i think.

dissamble the ps3 and reassamble again.check all the connector.and disconnect the flasher..and btw did u check everything else ok ?

Unplug the e3 ribbon from the flasher. It will restore the power to the USB ports.

Not sure why that happens sometimes.

i followed the "ultimate foolproof guide e3 flasher" and at last he say we can disconnect the e3 flasher and put the hdd in and i did this and get this error
i checked everything but i dont know why this error is :S

What is your model #? On some phat models there is a little ribbon that connects the USB to the motherboard.

If that is not the problem, it may be a bad flash. How did you validate your dump?
