Yes by the title you can guess and assume that I have a Idea on how to switch your trophies to another user. I have ran into a road block though. My private psunban tool with my private console ID was just banned and unfortuantly I cannot test this Idea out.

Why did I make this thread you ask? Well I come here in hopes of getting a lending hand from someone, as I have lended a hand to many users here.

What I need is one of three things:

1. Someones personal PSunban tool so I can attempt this on my end first. ( you can search me on the forums all you want, I do not play games online. I only buy things in the store )

or

2. I need someone with a non banned cfw console and knowledge of how to navigate the ps3 system files.

or

3. Someone with a banned console and banned account, with a working PSUnban tool. Also with the knowledge of how to navigate the PS3 system files.

The files I would need from 1, 2 and 3 are a trophy folder from a game from a banned account, and a trophy folder from a non banned account on the console, Or if the console is not banned, then a trophy folder from one user and a trophy folder from another user.


If your intrested in helping me with this miniture Idea please leave a comment and we can work something out. Only serious help please here people, Im trying to help out the banned users to get there trophies back, and give back to the community.

If this Idea works then I will need someone very knowledgable in the programming field to write up a app to do all this for the end user.

good idea, I think i can give you a working un-ban, to un-ban yourself what do you need, the PSID or the CONSOLEID? or both?

just console ID, as my console was banned. If you have one to spare and working. If you dont trust me that much, then I can patch the trophy files and you can do things on your end. I would rather test this first before I have others doing it too, as I would like to know first hand if it works. I dont like giving things out that I dont know if they work or not, ya know.

Either way though, I know console ID's are getting hard to come by and people are being protective of them, So I dont expect anyone to just hand me one.

I'm going to be checking out half broken consoles at pawn shops to scavenge a few console ID's as soon as my current college semester gets out, so if you will still need one in a few weeks I could let you use one. I would also be willing to help testing since I was recently banned (just used 4.40 spoofer, never played online. Probably detected while watching Netflix or viewing trophies.)

Three questions: 1.) Can I use a slim console ID in a Phat PS3? 2.) What would happen if two consoles go online at the same time with the same Console ID? Because if I can still find a use for a half broken console it would be a shame to waste it. 3.) If I play PSN games online that I already bought under the old PSN name, then transfer trophies from it over, would Sony look at a new account with Trophies for a game it couldn't have bought and assume it was piracy and just ban the account again?

A simple request: Would it be possible for a single program to take an exdata folder and automatically copy over and resign all save data and trophies to a new user name, maybe even one generated on the spot? If so it would be an amazing accomplishment because the process of individually looking for and resigning every single save is tedious.

An alternative idea: The real issue here is that when a user is banned they cannot login to PSN, and that their name on the console is tied to the PSN name selected. The thing is though that there is nothing that would keep someone else from creating an identical name off-line. So what if someone were to remove the PSN name linked to the profile? I mean, off-line from the profile itself? At that point if you went online with it the console should give you the option to create a new PSN ID, right? If so maybe a simple program could simply remove the PSN ID from the profile without affecting the saves or trophies, and then when you create a new PSN ID it could synchronize your Trophies on PSN as if you were a new user and your saves wouldn't need to be resigned since the same username is using them. Or is there more to it?

I do believe that this should be possible too, because it is possible to earn Trophies on a user account that doesn't have a PSN name yet.

i have played around with this idea and have suffered some consequences. i got too carried away and didnt think things all the way through though. all the way back like 4 months ago i got banned and thought of this. here is what i did: i reset default settings from the ps3 system recovery menu. this effectively removed ties of my online profiles to all accounts. this left my trophies, saves and data untouched. then i used a psunban application to get online. i was happy because i saw "sign up" and i was able to link a new account. so i did, i logged in and all was good. trying to sync my trophies though, failed with errors. and another thing i wasnt planning on also happened. my act.dat was also removed from my account so i couldnt use dlcs anymore or reactpsn

well if its not to late i could help out, i have one console id left. i just used the other one today and confirm working via psid on rebug 4.41.2 lite.
funny my console is all zeros until i apply from consoleid.txt

i am trying the same thing. got a new acct active and trying thru bruteforce to swap trophies. says it can (latest release) 3.8.?
cant seem to figure it out.
