Black ops 2 is no longer the only problem, it seems sony's maintenance included a better detection algorithm. I bet they scan the entire root directory and search for any extra folders as well as the game folder.

It's true that they took away psn access and it's not really a big deal, I'm sure if someone were to get the next playstation, they would be bummed out not being able to access their account.

Yeah so Is ANYONE truly surprised by this? We all knew this would happen eventually. I've been banned for about awhile now. since my ban have been offline aproximately 1 day. I've used 2 of my 5 IDs (Original from the banned unit and am on the second one) aside from just using the public PSunbans that were available. Hopefully I can figure out a way to stealth my Network Data so as to avoid using up the rest of mine because I have no more broken consoles to dump and don't really wanna buy another console because I've owned 10 already. broken 4 and sold all but one of the working ones...

BTW if your only using netflix/hulu like I've done they seem to be less likely to pick you on there ban waves though I'm certain they will ban my new ID soon enough.

BTW better stealthing isn't impossible but will require a rather elaborate payload.....

you know I'm surprised they haven't implemented a code so that on startup if your PS3 is hacked you get a message saying your banned and they shut off the machine.....

Just out of curiosity what is everybody playing online with their ps3 anyway? Since there isn't cross game chat and all of the good exclusives are really heavy single player based games I almost never connect to psn. The only reason I have it connected to my wireless router is for easy MM updates and game updates. Xbox truly is a better online experience, especially when you have backups running on it as well :D

Has anyone discovered a way to remove app/home/ps3_game and Install packages?Ive hidden the apps I use now just need to do this.
