If it is a downgradable console, then just downgrade. Patch the valid dump and flash.
Then when you get to the part when you enter FSM, skip the dongle. And go straight to the Lv2diag.self and PS3UPDAT.PUP on USB.
It will install the firmware, then exit FSM with the other Lv2diag.self.

You can not use Three musketeers patch. You can not install firmware from recovery, while in FSM.

I tried to tell him that @playerkp420 , now what happened to last:

Clip is broken, can not get any readings from the console anymore or write.

Hes saying hes gona try with linker tomorrow... Im out! Not helping him anylonger... I sent him my patched backup he couldnt use it anymore as he broke that damn clip HOW CAN YOU BREAK THE CLIP!

these 4.30 patches are made and it so happens that those 4.xx can be installed from recovery instead..flagging the fsm dongle useless...but if one has already triggerd fsm for whatever reason, why would the 4.30/4.31 cfw pup not install from fsm+lv2diag.self....not that this is recommended anymore..i dont see why it wont take/install via fsm instead then again this brick would go for 3.55 first anyway, seems its coming from it..stick to it..

Not sure. I know I could not enter FSM mode after flashing 3 musk.

I also know I could not enter recovery menu, while in FSM.

Maybe I will try and go into FSM first, then flash 3 musk. And see if it will accept lv2diag.self.
I have a feeling it won't work though. Since I could not enter FSM after flashing it.

ah u tested it..nice one..no fsm with dongle after patching 4.30...
this ofcouse is 1 in the ... case with fsm on ofw..it would be nice info to know it can install from fsm..a bit useless info..info all together..so if u can test the last part u posted..that would be sweet info..thx from us all
