CECHE01 motherboard replacement or reball

Hi guys, here's my dilemma.
Well this (CECHE01) is my first PS3 and it died (YLOD) some time ago. I bought it used from a guy I know that had had it reflowed a couple of times and when I got it I got a YLOD and reflowed it again and got it to work, but now it has happened again. I have since then bought a slim but I want to get this one working again.
First I should let you know that it died when I was uploading a CFW 3.55 on it when it got the YLOD so I don't know if its even salvageable.

Option 1: Get it reballed and if dead still hopefully find someone with a NAND flasher to unbrick it.

Option 2 (if even possible): Find a working board of hopefully a newer model and sticking that board into my PS3 and calling it a day. Are the boards interchangeable in the fat models?

Thanks in advance

it's kinda hard to find a good working mobo which isn't re-flowed using heat guns and such
if i where you get it reballed and be done with it or just sell the parts
