Hi. I've done a handful of ps3s, slim and fat now, but when I would apply the update.bin before, I would get the eight lights and the update.bin would no longer be on the microsd. On this ps3, CECHL, I apply the update, it stays with one main blue LED, and the update.bin is no longer on the SD card. Should I carry on with the install? Has the update.bin been installed?

I proceeded to backup the NOR, and it went through successfully. I'm checking all three backups now, and they seem fine.

How do I proceed from here? It definitely looks like I've installed the E3 flasher correctly, and when the backup was being performed, all eight lights eventually lit up, meaning that part is installed correctly as well. Should I be concerned that the eight lights didn't flash this time?

Update: K I went and did the rest of the mod. Everything went smoothly, so I assume the lights not showing (except the one brightest LED) meant nothing. As long as the update.bin was no longer on the microsd.

Rogero is installed, I'm launching a game now. Sorry for the trouble guys!

You know you don't have to update the flasher on every console, right?

If you are doing multiple consoles, use the Samsung 10.28 update.bin once. Then it will never need to be updated again. Unless you are going to leave it in the console and setup fast dual boot.

Thank you, I had an idea it was a one time thing, but because I never bothered to verify it I do it ritualistically for every console. Thank you for letting me know! I'll take it out of the procedure next time.

Yeah, I did that for the first few consoles. Then someone told me, like I told you. LOL.
