yo we laugh but people will buy the craziest memorabilia yeah personally i don't play demos for the most part to my knowledge the demo was up to blade wolf were you able to beat him? if so guess it's just not your cup of tea the controls are certainly different but i don't think that is a bad thing...i view this as hack and slash not button mash because if you just mashed random buttons this game will repeatedly kill you since it is parry heavy

How to parry, press up on the left analog and [ ] at the same time just as a enemy is about to hit you. In order to defeat the final boss, this is imperitive to know.

Its not based off MGS, its based off Raiden and his story after the fall of SOP. Also Kojima had nothing to do with this, once his team failed to finish it and he outsourced it to Platnium games. Which they started over from scratch with the guidance of kojimas team to keep the game in its MGS world.

I dont get the bash attacks either. The gameplay was solid and very entertaining, The story went all super cheesy and made a point to show how cheesy the MG and MGS stories are, and this one took it too a whole new level.

I love the Metal Gear games and MGS games for there cheesy story, cause its so entertaining. Only thing missing was a guy sh*ting his pants in this one.

Overall this game kicked alot of ass in my opinion, sure it wasnt traditional MGS or MG. Everyone of the fans bashing it knew that going into this game, so they should probably take there opinions and sit on them.

We all knew this was not guna be a stealth game, but a straight up blood bath cyborg ninja hack and slash. In that aspect this game was everything I expected and more.

Bloody hack and slash - check
crazy cyborg ninja cutting everything and anything - check
cheesy voice over acting - check

My only complaint about this game is that it was too short, just as I was getting into the cheesy world of MGS and MG again, it ended. this game was awesome and everything they promoted it to be, Unlike this A:CM game that these MGR bashers are saying they would rather play.

What most people dont get is that the MGS and MG games are suppopsed to be cheesy and entertaining like the old west movies, and early 70's and early 80's movies that kojima loves.

oh i know how to parry i just suck at it and am not crazy about it (because i suck at it lol) but then again that's cause it takes skill and i am more of an rpg/ rts guy at heart but i play it all

i personally think the game is great and you are right to parry is critical that's why i don't get the comments bashing it cuz too easy or that it's a button masher have people even played this game for very long or just dismissed it personally i am hooked can't wait to get home and keep playing

Its not an american game. It was developed in Japan for the Western market (EU / USA). Kojima was not involved in the production (he dont even knew that the game was being developed), and his answer to that infamy was the development of Metal Gear 2 for MSX2

Just the very mention of that one makes me wanna puke. I have attempt to play that one multiple times, without success. I always get so pissed it exist and shut it off. Everything about it pisses me off

I was saddened to learn the direction my beloved Tactical Espionage Action game series has taken. I believe they are gonna release a more transitionally styled Metal Gear this Fall/Winter. Least that's what my friend told me.
