For jailbreaking what Firmware do you have?
For downgrading what ps3? There is no way to downgrade free. As for jailbreaking there are ways(You can use PSP if I remember correctly) you will need 3.55 Official PSN firmware so you can jailbreak(That's why you need to downgrade in the first place) Now you need to remember if you do it yourself there are many things to consider and even then you may not even have the knowledge or ability to downgrade. Just read my sig first. And if you don't want to buy a $100 flasher (IF your ps3 is downgradable) And you KNOW FOR 100% every idea and way things can happen go ahead. Just be forwarned though it's easier and safer to let someone else do it.
