I'm am a totally noob. Yesterday I have updated my old phat PS3 with CECHH04 to the 4.31 firmware.

I have looked yesterday for about 6 hours for software how to downgrade it back, but all there are fake (surveys). Only one was working (3.55 kmeaw) but it got a error on 78%.

Is there a possibility to get back to the 3.55 OFW without any hardware (E3 flasher), thus, software?

unfortunately E3 is your only option to downgrade, pay somebody like @keano or @Sarah1331 these guys offer the best service in the UK

That's bad... I hope there would be a fast software mod for 4.31 to downgrade back to 3.55.

Does somebody know if there is working on that?

E3 (hardware) is the only option.

There are no software downgraders to date.

Please search the forums before asking questions that have been answered a thousand times before.
