Hey everyone, I want to jailbreak my OFW 4.31 in order to just simply install this new Temp sensor program. I want to check my temps from the new thermal paste reapplication. After I am done with the temp checks I want to revert back to OFW 4.31. Im new to this and everything. When i am jail breaking to CFW 4.31 will I have to reinstall my games all over again and copy my saves back over to? When I am reverting back to OFW 4.31 will I have to reinstall games over again and have to copy my saves back also? If any one can send me a link to a 4.31 reverter and a good CFW 4.31, it would be great.

What model of PS3 are you trying to downgrade and have you run minverchk.pup to see if it will downgrade?

Op what model do you have buddy and I'd backup everything regardless that way you always have everything

If you just want to check your temps use another HDD for the downgrade and whala flash your orig image and use orig HDD

I have the 60gb Ps3 bought back in 2007. Do you need the actual serial number. Yes i have my old 60gb hardrive before upgrading to 500gb. Im really new to this so sorry. Can you tell me the process, so put my 60 gb hard drive back in and then do what next?

You will be better paying someone like me pal as you need to buy all the hardware to downgrade and it will be cheaper

I read that you can downgrade a ps3 fat is it had 3.55 already before on it with just the usb drive?

You can't.You have to use a hardware flasher.
