Best model for jailbreaking?

Hi all,

So my family got me a Super-Slim PS3 for Christmas - I wanted to jailbreak, and obviously I didn't want to spend 130 dollars on something that there's no proof of (Cobra's 'works on every model' claim), so I'm looking into getting a fat. I called up my local Gamestop yesterday (since they had the old fat models) and asked if I would be able to physically trade the newer one for an older one - they said yes (and I would get some extra store credit left over), and also they said that they do not upgrade the firmware on them. To me, I thought this was a jackpot, since there's a possibility it may be hackable. They said I could come in store with some cables, turn them on, and see what FW they're on. If they happen to all be on the right firmware (which I doubt), what model should I go for: The 40gb, the 60gb, the 80gb 2-usb version, or the 80gb 4-usb version?

Go for a slim 120gb or 250gb as they are just as likely to be on 3.55 or lower. Failing that the 4 USB 80gb fat is backwards compatible with PS2 games so go with that.

He's/She's testing them in the shop! Not much point in checking model numbers as they are second hand. Slim all the way if he's/she's lucky!!!!!

slim model or fat model .....mmmmmmmmmmmm
if your gonna jailbreak a skinny model you wont have to bend the bars on the window quite as much & you might want to grease the fat one up to squeeze her through.
