virgin media usernet FTW, that is one good thing about virgin media is their usergroups access is it's free and you don't have to pay extra and you can avoid the premium links on download sites too which is a bonus.

I've got the 60 meg connection, but the max I'm getting today is 8mbs. Is there like a best setup for the internet, or a setting within the program that I can set to rape the internet of speed?

check to see if there are any other available ports you can use.

on my provider, apart from standard 119/563 ports, 995 is faster

i have no idea what ports you can use with virgin though

virgin throttle p2p & newsgroups between 5pm & 12am so you wont get full speed at these times.

there ar different measurments of internet speed mate, your lead to beleive that your getting 60 megabytes but it fact your getting 60 megabits so it sounds like you are maxing things out, if you go to speedtest.net and click settings and change the speed measurements and you will see what i mean

im on 120mb virgin & the fastest ive downloaded at is 13 - 14mbps .... so for a 60mb connection 8mbps is good m8
