Now that you guys have PSN and can reactivate your accounts, i suggest you backup act.dat, along with ALL your respective rifs and raps AND ISO.BIN.EDATs . this is VERY important because it can be used as research for those who wish to play psx/ps2/psp backups in ISO format on their ps3, like Cobra.

For more details on how to do this , i suggest you take a look at Snowy and KDSBest tool for ISO.BIN.EDAT and look on the respective wiki page http://ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Iso.bin.edat for your respective psx npdrm keys.

At the moment, only that tool is available (I'm not sure if there are more), so take your chance.

PS: You can encrypt your psx npdrm files as free klicensee

PPS: Backup your npdrm purchase folders in total, it's better that way

I suggest (whilst this may sound a stupid idea now) that some user buys a ps2 classic / mini / psx classic, one of the cheapest, and takes a look at the contents of the folder of the game, and if the user finds ISO.BIN.EDAT, tries to decrypt it and if, successfull, sends it here.

hmm if it will help in any way i will try this...question...my sync went fine and all seems well but I um seem to have ahem misplaced any legit psn mini content...would the files still be useful after syncing with sony online or are the files you wish to have only useful if i purchase content...i don't mind doing so and any idea if it will be actually playable? or complain and force me to update? What I would like is journey meself...

i'm not sure if i get what you're saying. you only need to activate something you purchased, wether it's a ps2 classic mini or psx classic. of course it HAS to be legal (aka, something you bought)

edit: ok i think i got it, you mean syncing with sony after so long after 3.55. yes, it would work , worked with my ff7 back when rebug launched their method to get on PSN a month ago

yeah dude like i don't know if you could even know the answer but here is what i am wondering...ok so i have "content" which I did not "purchase legit" obtained the files....etc...so once I sync with Sony (which I have) a few questions...

Isn't my psn/psp mini/ps1 classics still playable but I suppose with some hacked files? So I take it that data is not useful no?

Now the other question is I don't mind buying Journey if it will help but like lets say I but it will I still be able to play it or no since it require 3.60 keys...I am assuming it's going to be a no. Will the files actually help though?

btw i am on 3.41 and psn was just working for me...

Oh well update i have the journey demo but of course the swine dont allow me to play without update...any ideas? If you can somehow unlock the full i would buy please me know if demo is useful

3.55 does not ave the needed keys to work the online pass.. Sorry Online passes were introduced like 3.70-3.72 correct?
