Of course I know that, but when he comes on saying he's taking parts from one PS3 and putting them into another, it needs to be pointed out about the logic board (as troubleshooting the lens isn't possible until the logic board and motherboard are working together as they should).

Really. I understand the process of my logic board. TY and my original post was that i used the cabling from my other ps3. Thank you for your input but you have been of no help at all. Post Whore.

Yes I did just do that.

To everyone else thank you for your input. I managed to download "factoryservicemode tool" and I have read that the new rogero has noBD/noBT fixes in case of a broken blu ray drive or bluetooth board. I was wondering if the combo would allow me to run factory service mode to remarry the drive with just software??

since your logic board is not recognized, the tool won't run, so it's useless to try, stay on 3.55 it's your best bet to remarry the drive. (with the help of a dongle)

thanks mr dutch. I will not upgrade. Do you know of a good legit place i can order a dongle?

I have lost my PSP prolly or misplaced it years ago i seen it like a year ago but not since. Figures when you need something that is otherwise useless you cant find it when it becomes invaluable.

i never needed a dongle, i had a logic board that was partially broken so i could use the fsm tool.

@playerkp420 or @Sarah1331 might know trusted sellers and what to look for.

Eat sh1t then. Jesus Christ, and people wonder why not many members are in a rush to help them when they ask for it. This is the kind of crap you get when you willingly spend your free time trying to be of assistance. Self entitled prick. I just did that too, punk.

Some one takes a little time from their day to help you and you insult them.
How the f*ck can you call a long time member with a measly 567 posts a post whore ?

In future instead of showing how much of an ignorant bastard you are, be thank full and great full for any and all help you get.

Ooh, yes i am a self entitled prick when people like you who are clearly knowledgeable to help cant properly retain information from the text that is written above your useless replies. So Yes I did that again.

i wonder if he thinks that "marrying" simply means "connected correctly"
by his statement about using the same cabling, it seems so
@General Plot was correct in his replies
