Hey, I have a 60gb cecha01 PS3 and really want to downgrade it, but am on the latest firmware. I read that I must use Progskeet to downgrade it since my system has NAND. But for all the guides I've seen or brief videos of the Progskeet itself, I am left completely confused. The Ultimate 'Foolproof' guide for instance continuously lists more and more things, and before I know it I am lost. I was hoping -someone- on this wide web of ours had some sort of video of them doing it themselves. It would be so damn helpful. Like, "here is the board Progskeet, and the other things I need, I am going to open the system, solder this here, clip this here, etc". That would be a life saver. If not, well.... anyone offer any downgrade services? I live in NY in the US and would send it in to get it downgraded for me. Thanks! I have been wanting this downgrade for a very long time.

Hi;
i do not know if @playerkp420 do NANDS, but will this your post here and may help you. If you read the Guide for the first time, you feel lost, but this means also you need to do more reading, to make thing simpler, go the Progskeet NAND downgrade and follow the steps, and make sure you have a FSM Dongle, and send your dump for validation before flashing it. what ProgSkeet you Have?

Thanks for the response. I have not purchased any Progskeet yet, since I'd like to be completely clear on what exactly I need. When I look at the Foolproof Guide, for instance, it'll say you need A), then when you click on A) it breaks down into 1) 2) 3) 4), and each of those has a link or two in them. It just gets confusing is all.

What you need to carry NAND Downgrade:
1- ProgSkeet (V1.1 is the best if you can find one, or V1.2 but it can do just NANDs for Now there is problems in the Nors) (Note: Teensy++2 can do now NANDS, but still did not try it and received it yesterday) 2- injectus to program the Progskeet. ![]() 3- 360clip (NAND) (48 Pin not the 56 Pin) http://www.elitasia.com/Uni-Clip-48-Pin or this it is the same http://www.elitasia.com/Solderless-360-Clip 4- Y" Adaptor (NAND Adaptor PCB) http://www.elitasia.com/ProgSkeet-Ad...s-and-NAND-PCB 5- Plastic clamp to hold the Clip: ![]() and FSM Dongle

Thanks! That makes it much simpler. After I acquire those I assume I simply follow the Progskeet guide.
