New Noob.
Hi all, pretty much new to the Playstation 3 scene, just bought mine about a week ago, started playing Ni No Kuni and Killzone 3. I was looking into jailbreaking mine but it looks pretty complicated so I'll stay away from it for now until I read up some more on it. I mess around with Photoshop and Illustrator so I'll probably be making some new themes , would especially like to make some dynamic themes but even that looks a bit complicated at the moment but theres a good amount of tutorials here so I'm sure you'll see me release one at some point :P

 Check out Glowballs tutorials for themes, they are awesome! PS: if you bought your PS3 a week ago its possible its a 3k (slim) or 4k (ultraslim) model and those are NOT jailbreakable at all. If your Ps3 is not a 3k or 4k then run minverchk (link in my sig) to see if your PS3 can atleast downgrade to 3.56 or 3.55 and then you will be able to downgrade with a hardware flasher and or install CFW aka jailbreak.

I have been looking at Glowballs tutorials and they do seem awesome, I have much to learn from him :D Hm, well I bought mine used off Craigslist, buts its the 320gb slim version, (Not super slim), I'll have to look for the model number I think to get a better idea if I can or not, I know it has 4.31 at the moment though, if I have to install any kind of hardware it's going to be a no go for me as I'm to scared to open up my new baby ;( Perhaps some months down the line. @harryoke , Thanks :P @AS-Team Heh, we're the new wave of noobies. |
