Vuze (formally Azureus) friends, anyone using it?
i've just had to TOTALLY rebuild my computer, and reinstall windows, now everything has been going fine (well, as fine as things can go after 5 attempts of installing windows, f'n ms) but then i went to reinstall my lovely azureus and what happened, its changed to Vuze and has got all flashy and stuff, not nice when the original one was so easy to use.
anyway i have got my head around it now and i am getting used to it but i have been looking into the friends thing, and getting "FRIEND BOOSTS" for downloads. i was just wondering if anyone on here used the new build of Vuze and if u do, do u wanna add me as a friend for some "FRIEND BOOSTING" lol. my user name is DJ_3Sixty so feel free to add me, now i am back in the land of downloading my computer is on pretty much 24/7 so i am here to help! send me a message on here if u wanna too, i dont mind! laterz, 3sixty. p.s. i know some of u will ask so i will tell u..... Vuze sucks in my opinion, especially if you're using it on Windows, there are much better options like uTorrent. Unfortunately, such a client does not exist on Mac, so I am forced to use Vuze
 That friend boost thing isn't going to help you one bit unless they are downloading the same stuff as you.

vuze runs on java and i really don't like java because it runs slow. but the one advantage to java is that it will run on any operating system. i use utorrent, i think its the best torrent program out, its small and very powerful.

Vuze is damn heavy and confusing
Azureus is better. but since i use uTorrent i stopped using Azureus. its more lightweight maybe because Azureus and Vuze use java, so its abit slow on my pc
