Will the Swap Magic 3.8 still work on my backwards compatible ps3 with 4.31OFW?

This hasn't been patched yet has it? I'm just looking to play PS2 backups.

I see no reason why it shouldn't work as i don't think Sony have patched it, at least i hope not, because apart from being able to run PS2 backups, you can also run PS2 Homebrew, like Emulators

Thanks! I have model CECHA01 so I am assuming I am ok there.

Real quick though, what do you mean by the ps1 version of swap? I can play ps1 backups too?

He means the PS1 version of swap magic lol.

(There was a CD released for the PS1 that allowed you to play PS1 "imports")

Swap magic comes with two discs, one CD and the other DVD, the PS3 see's both of them as PS2 discs.

Breaker Pro was how the Ps1/PSone swapdisk was called. That one also works...

And yes, CD + DVD PS2 swapmagic both also work (e.g. Half-Life is a CD title)
