VLC installed and working...Yeaaaah.
Well, I finally found a way.
Installed everything from the start, corrected the repos, and now VLC is working. Only thing is that playback of .mkv has lots of lag, and some movies play sound correctly but image is distorted. Should I configure any special settings in VLC or is it just a matter of network bandwidht (I am using wired network from PS3 to router) Thanks to NeoSabin an weed for their help. |

i don't know about the lag but if you have a distorted image try playing the movie
and going to Video > Deinterlace > Discard that should fix the problem
