type in your browser 192.168.0.1 user name 'superuser' password 'password' go to services in content filtering. firewall features is at top unclick the enable. so it is disabled. should work. drove me crazy for months. what i used to do was play a split screen game by yourself die a few times and it should work. random i know but it works. . .

Although you have NAT type 2, this only means your PSN ports have access. Check the CoD4 Manual and look for if it asks you to port forward anything, because it sounds like whatever port communicates with the matchmaking system is being blocked, hence why you can access private games but not game "searched" games. I remember having similar issues with burnout before i manually port forwarded all the ports needed for PSN and the game. To make sure it isnt your router, borrow a friends for a bit and try it on that, and if it works then obviously im wrong and it IS your router as someone suggested or your friends router is allowing access to the required port.

Same exact thing is happening to me!
Everytime I cant play it will just stay there Please Someone help I have nat type 2 I have 20/5 mbps verizon fios router model MI424WR Its started when I got the new router I think its bblocking me from the ps3 someone please help!!!!!! |
