This is only a Proof of Concept emulator. Sound is very difficult in Java, so don't expect it soon. Gamesaving should be easy on the other hand. Soundless Mario is still fun.

I know programming can be a pain (I program in VB.net 05 and PHP) I wouldn't mind if Game saves came out before sound but hands down if he/she gets sound working plus i think there is another thread on this topic!.

Got it to load but it is very slow. I press down to select another game in the menu and it takes it about 20 seconds to go to the next item in the list. I thought it might be the size of the drive I was using; a Sandisk cruzer 8gb. So I tried a imation 256k and the menu still operates very slowly. Any suggestions?

It has to do with how many files you have on the list. I narrowed my game library down to 80 games and divided them into four folders. The first list with the four folders and the BDMV and CERTIFICATE folders selects at pretty much normal speed, but within the folders, with about 20 games each, it takes about a second or two to select the next item. When I first loaded it with like 300 games or whatever, I thought it was broken; it took like 30 seconds or more to move to the next selection.

It looks like there also may be a problem with scrolling. If you keep moving down off the bottom of the screen, the list doesn't scroll.
