hi i was in the closed beta and while i was updating i thought it would be useful if i used ps3proxy to download the update. anyways here where u can download the latest home beta.(1.00.017)

Well only use i can come up with is if you have a slow connection or limited BW and can download them at a friend or something and just use them to switch from the official link, that should work, right? Since it's not any different from official..

Actually it was patched in 2.4. There was a work around to get it working with 2.35 and 2.36. So if you stay on a lower firmware then this may be of use, but you still will not be able to log into Home.

You can still install this on the lastest firmware you have to...

1. Download any demo from the playstation store
2. Preform it in the background then pause it from the xmb
3. Then from the proxy grab the url to the demo you downloaded
4. Forward that link to the file (Note the home link that was posted above will NOT WORK we need the full new home beta if someone can provide the link)
5. Once the link is forwarded you can now un-pause and it will start downloading the new file

6. If someone can supply the full new home beta link that would be amazing thanks.

In general for downloading demos and stuff from your computer and forwarding it works.... home beta I'm not sure because I haven't tried it
