You could always create a PS3 program for dev kits, a lot of hackers seem to be able to get their hands on one.

please try and stay on topic, also if you want to just have a chat about encryption in general then create or use another thread, this one started out with some decent info in it and it's now descended into an encryption Q&A

i think thats the problem......none of the hackers have ACTUAL DEV kits (which dont look anything like a ps3)

the missing Dev kits are no problem, since they don't signe any code, and we can programm and run, and maybe exploit under Linux/Other OS.
The Dev kits have quite the same funktions like the leaked toolchain of PS3, which would make us compile code for the PS3, that is not signed, but would run if we would find an exploit. So the only thing is that we need an exploit, to bypass the Hypervisor, or a way to get/find out the encryption key. There is no other problem. And let's get back 2 topic! |
