Sony has released the newest firmware, 2.53. The update is pretty small as it adds some flash functionality.

Yay, now I can watch Hulu.......at like 5 fps. They definitely need to figure out caching, or maybe there just isn't enough memory.

There should be an option to allocate cache to the hard disk, unless it already does this.

Agreed, and something that would be nice is patch updates so i dont have to download 138MB just to make flash run fullscreen. its pathetic that I cant use PSN till I can run flash in fullscreen. -.-'

Like always, its a start. Future updates should make the flash better because right now, its crap! Even the simplest flash doesn't run!

Yeah I agree that its silly but they have to do it incase someone is running on a really low firmware. I guess the only way round it would be for a system version threshold thing to be implemented so it would download a smaller patch instead.

Also flash run on remote play now on PSP & even on fullscreen too. 2.52fw everytime i go to a web site that has a flash the remote play crash but they fix that.
