bah, i was trying to stem the incoming tide of post6s that would have no meaning or help to them... but i guess in this explanation, there i go adding to what i hate. Be careful of the mosters you hate, or you may one day become one yourself.

wait so you if you follow this guide with ONE ps3 you wont have the cell and rsx restrictions Ive been hearing about?

so how is it a super comp if it has all restrictions??

Most science applications don't make use of amazing 3D visuals with shaders, alot of them are text based which are just ran until it's completion and the results are then printed. No RSX is needed in this sort of situation =]

that makes alot sense lol but, what about the cores and why cant we run windows xp & how muck memory does the ps3 have ( i thought it was 512mb(xp min.)but i really have no clue). sorry for the run on sentence.
