greg said no , so no it does not work on the 120gb ps3 and all new users search, read then ask, i mean the thread title is..
Load PS2 ISO's on PS3 via USBADVANCE (External HDD) [20/60/80gb NTSC/JAP/PAL SKU] read the thread title, YES IT WILL WORK if its a fatty i myself have a 40gb(fat) pal ps3 (minimus JB) , so i use OPL on my slim ps2 (free mcboot) and another thing DUDE if you cant use usbutil.. learn how to use it its a very easy app to use, you do not need to touch the .cfg.. click file-load .cfg click file again - create game EASY it gets boring very quick answering the same ol questions over and over and over and over and over again.. try finding the answers for yourself before asking, the internet is a tool, use it. sorry about the rant lads but seriously these questions have been answered more than a few times..... sometimes with pictures geerrrrrr samson mad!!!! but lolling hard at you noobie's ![]() biggup to gregory rasputin awesome DR2 mods dude, i kick zombie butt now so thanks & biggup denreo1 & dookie11 for keeping your cool ![]() @ Dominator7 different hardware... ps2 - ps3.. so ps2 .elf's are not the same as ps3 .elf/.self(compiled to make .pkg) .. i think thats what your getting at.

Hello everyone! I'm having some issues loading ps2 backups through the USBadvance method.. I've tried to do some research through this thread, but got through the last 15 pages and gave up.. so here's my issue : ).
I have an original launch NTSC ps3 (60gb with the ee). I can load swap magic, get to the ifcaro screen, and launch the games from the menu. The problem, though, is that the games either don't load or have terrible lag. I've tried Shadow of a colossus, grim grimmoire, and Grand Theft Auto. GTA is the only one that loads up, but it is painfully slow. The other two don't even load. I've tried three separate USB devices (one of them didn't work at all). Any advice? Should I be using a more up-to-date software? |
