yes, this will not lead to any ps3 backup loading. this just allows u you to play ps2 backups (with slower loading than just playing the games off a DVD rom) off a USB storage device with very limited compatibility, on a limited version of the ps3 console. i dont see what is so great about it honestly? were no closer to a exploit for "homebrew loaders" i guess any form of piracy for the ps3 is better than none?

if they could get hdloader working for ps3 and be able to install ISOs to teh internal HDD, then that would be more pratical...just my 2 cents

If only the USB driver would use the 2.0 instead of 1.1.

Wonder if anyone could compile from PS3 linux and port it for PS2, or something to that sort.

You should add something in the FAQ about this method working or not on FW 2.60.

oh my god!! what a tool, yes we can play ps2 backups!!

no one wants to play ps2 games on a ps3, go and buy a modded ps2 for this and play your old games with amazing grafix;-)!!!

on a ps3 you have to play ps3 games, thats what is build for, god damn.

have much fun with this tool, i think 1% of ps3 users need this.:thefinger:

@pirate: only ps3 consoles CECHA and CECHB are launch consoles with hardware ps2 compatibility!!! -> http://www.edepot.com/playstation3.h...el_Differences

That's what the word "elite" means.

Yeah i know, i still wanted to see how it works in general. It was my usb stick, which causes Swap Magic to freeze. I dont know why, but i tried another one and it worked until the point where i am supposed to copy the data form the usb stick to the virtual memory card. Every time i try to click on mass: (my usb stick) Swap Magic freezes and i cant do anything. It doesnt load, just nothing happens. Could it be the stick or the problem something else?
