I have got games to run on Australian launch PS3. My question is has anyone got USBadv to see more than 1 game on an external hdd. When I put more than 1 game on drive it only sees 1. I have used USButils to convert iso to readable format and each game has a ul.cfg file (not sure if this is the id on the drive). Can you put games in folders or any other format to get multiple games to be dispalyed on the menu? Any help would be great.

2. just received my Magic3plus discs. one is a cd. the other is a dvd.

3. my firmware is 2.60

3. tried both cd and dvd versions and all i get is a black screen.

4. yes the discs are real

5. went to my ps2 to try a disc which was the cd version and that didnt work as well. just a black screen, but maybe it needs the dvd version.

anyways. can you guys help me out and let me know what im doing wrong. i hope i did not just waste 30 dollars for these damn discs.

Thanks
Contact the place you bought them from. If they don´t load on your ps3 or ps2 then the discs are bad. do you have NTSC system? it seems there are more faulty ntsc disc then PAL discs but I´ve seen a few faulty PAL discs too.
The vendors are aware that there are bad discs. Contact them and send yours back. unless the vendor is really shady, they should replace the discs.
bye

@gaznov. you should only have 1 config file. if you keep your old config file and convert a new game that game will be added to the config file.

i have been converting one game, getting the 4 files and the config file, then popping those files into a folder with the game name.

then u can just put one game on ur usb device at a time, just my idea!

I used USButils to convert all my iso's to the root of my external HDD.
trhis way when i load USBadv, once the menu comes up it won't see the HDD.
Then i take out the flash drive (in my case the psp), then the files show.
I put in the flash drive again (HDD usb1, flash drive usb2) and start a game.
My thought is that the ul.cfg keeps track of what games there are, if you put another game in the same map as the ul.cfg it will be added to the list, i hope you get my drift.

Using 60 GB NTSC release PS3. I get to the Swap Magic menu screen, press UP + L2 and the screen freezes until I reset the game.

There any reason for this?

Figured, it's a Patriot 8 GB, though shows up fine in the PS3 menu. Does someone have a good recommended one for this to work?

I'm sorry I can't tell you how to get it working but I can confirm that my Western Digital External HDD(500GB, only 20GB are FAT32) formatted to FAT32 is working. I'm just wondering if there is anyway to increase the speed? The games take sooo long to load!
