Today, I have been trying to hack a bit the Open PS2 Loader, in order to achieve better network speeds, but to no avail. It's open source, I can do that, right? lol j/k Anyways, a guy that started if first was very polite, and helped me to try and optimize it. But as I said, I did not achieve a thing. Or at least, not much. If I get anywhere, I'll let you guys know.

Did you try patching the game before trying? It's just an idea, I did not try it out.

Yeah Ive loaded it, played it too, the problem is with loading games via Wifi (which it does work) it just keeps crashing if i don't press start or X repeatedly, also, the loading times are horrendous. Works fairly well via usb though. : )
************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* monsieur grimlord, i didn't think that 0.6 OPS2L worked with patches? Could be wrong though. |

Yeah, it works with patches. In fact, some of the games do not even boot, without patching them first. So now, I always patch a game before I even try to run it. :D

Final Fantasy 12 IZJS with the English patch worked the same as running it on USB (video stutters). Going to try Berserk and SD Gundam Generation Wars tonight via wifi.

Patches I'm talking about are DNAS and IOPRP patches in USBUtil, when creating games. When copying a game, you have that option on the right side, to check, in the newest USBUtil, for which I uploaded on this thread a couple of pages ago.

Im guessing the Patches doesn't fix the FMV pauses.
Also, Berserk and SD Gundam Generation Wars work over WIFI, but the FMV are choppy as usual. |
