PS3 FW 3.1 causing sync problems on SLIM PS3s? - PS3Hax Network

It seems that after patch 3.1, PS3 Slims have stopped syncing with PS3 controllers. Sometimes they sync properly, other times they don't. Many people across PS3 forums have reported that their controllers are having a sync issue after firmware 3.1. When we called up Sony to question the issue, they responded with "Your PS3 internal bluetooth is dead". A known fix is a restart the PS3 or complete unplug and replug the power then start and resync again (via USB).

As for the "phat" PS3's they seem to be unaffected by this problem.

I have 3 Slim PS3's and they seem to all be malfunctioning, not syncing with PS3 after FW 3.1. They work just fine when plugged in VIA USB.

Are any of you guys experiencing this problem?

Yes. I have encountered this problem. What i did was just reset the controller in xbm menu by clicking the reset button on the back of the controller, while plugged in. So far so good.

i have a issue with my trophies synincg.....it gets to 9% then gives me a error.....

i have a launch 60g

I get an error also.... Have the original 60GB.. I just noticed this to so Thx.... Doesn't really bother me anyways, but all my trophies seem to be there...... It just shows Trophy Sync at 26% for like 5 secs then "An error has occured." (80022A07)", for those looking for a solution its obvious, just Google the error code.

yeah i get the controller sync problem. I got a 250g slim. Only had it a couple of weeks.
Simple swith off and back on again sorts it but its a bit annoying.

Just cancel the sync before it errors out, and then redo the sync, worked for me.

I encountered both problems, with the trophy syncing, AND with the controller, and that is on my PHAT 60gb EU ps3. So it's apperently not only the slims which are affected by this. I haven't tested with 3.15 yet.. I will report back on if it is fixed or not
