Dunno what other people think but I think it'd be cool if there was a section about different emulators for PC/PS3. I recently got nullDC (Dreamcast Emulator) and it's really got me interested in the whole emulation scene again.
Metropolis Street Racer FTW!

Hmm I am a classic emulation guy. I like the old Nintendo systems (NES, SNES, N64) when games actually made me try. I would play those systems til I got blisters on my thumbs, pop them, and just keep playing until the pain got to me. And now that I can have them on my laptop, it's a dream come true. So far I have made Fedora 10 RPM's for snes9x-gtk, FCEUX, Mupen64Plus, and EPSXE which is pretty good at playing the PS1 classics

Yeah, I love emulation, its great. Still not the same feel as playing it on the real thing though! :P Despite that emulation still has its perks, for example being able to play DC games in HD is pretty awesome.
![]() Just grab a PS2 BIOS and pop the disc in and it will work directly from disc.

One was written in Java a while ago, don't know where it's at right now though. On another page, the N64 emulator Mupen64Plus just released the 1.5 version today. I tested it out on linux and some good improvements have been made.

I have all 2-3 emulators, none of them work even with homebrew, just very very basic demos

PSX emulation is easy nowadays, the latest version of ePSXe (one of the best around imo, and it plays Vib Ribbon!) will happily run at full speed even on an old p2-450 with a 8mb voodoo2 and 128mb ram (what i tested it on) ;P Also has a software graphics driver which is insanely fast again even on old pcs.

neo geo is the best 2D gaming console ever. and also its similar to ps3 with the fact that neo geo console costed about $599 USD. btw the most shockking thing about neo geo is the fact that there are still games made to it latest game has been released at year 2006 and its games are now day valuable
