U will need a hardware flasher such as e3 or progskeet. U need some soldering skills even with the solderless clips sometime u may still to to solder the flasher. Hope u get working

New to this. If i install all of this software without the SPOOF is it possible for me to play games online? I've heard you can from the disc but not from backed up games. Just send me a message or reply here thanks.

im guessing still no way to jailbreak 4.11?, is there any way to play backed up ps2 games on ps3 without jailbreaking it , is there some other safe software i can use to atleast do that?

Cobra hardware on 3.55 works best on backward compatible consoles with CFW, as does open PS2 loader in conjunction with a legit swap magic disc (not a copy) the swap magic method might work on a BC console on OFW, I have no idea.

guys i need help. i bought my ps3 last yr. it has already 3.55 firmware and its already jailbreak. my problem is i want to play nba 2k12 but i can't because one of the requirements is 3.70 firmware. if i upgrade my firmware it wont be jailbreak anymore right? so i'm looking for 3.70 firmware jailbreak. can someone help me find it?

You can't jailbreak any firm where higher than 3.55, ur only option is to get a ( I hate to say this) tb dongle that will allow you to player newer games.

I have a PS3 Slim with OFW v3.41 and Iâ€™ve read that I should update to v3.55 for the best results… According to a few forums I can always downgrade later...

I guess I'm confused on which versions to download / wha'ts up to date…

- Jailbreak (Which versions best - Kmeaw / Rebug / GeoHot)

- Multiman (Many versions available for example this thread list - 02.09.02 Full / found others like v04.02.00 FULL / v 04.02.00 BASE / v04.02.03 UPD / MultiMAN Emulator Pack (FW 3.55) / ECT).. Do I use all of them or just one?

- Spoofs (Whatâ€™s the highest version needed / will I need different ones to play newer releases)

- BDEMU2 (Hard to find a good download)

What Iâ€™m after is a system that'll play NES, N64, SNES emulators and allow me to install all my Original GAMES onto the internal HD (preferred) / external if needed…

I've used Google and its great but it can be your worst enemy at times…
