    Any chance of installing OFW and CFW together, so that we can play games online as well as use homebrew/backup managers?

    @kwiklikwid..... In due time.... If you havn't noticed, following the scene requires patience...If there is a demand, it will eventually surface....patience.....

    Great news for 256's! Thanx for the contribution, and heads up!

    Not yet, AFAIK.
    US 4USB ports OFW 3.15 PS Ubuntu
    EU 4USB ports CFW REBUG 4.46.1 REX EDITION
    There is only one OS; AmigaOS, the rest are just [l]imitations.

    Can't wait for a simple guide to walk me through the process...I got a question however: I've got a launch 60GB PS3 (obviously "phat"), so what's all this about the 256mb vflash/ram? Does the PS3 slim has less or more and what difference does it make? Does it make the "phat" ps3's superior to the "slims" or it's a liability?

    For the Fat models (the 256 ones are NAND)

    PS3 Fat:
    CECHA = 256MB
    CECHB = 256MB
    CECHC = 256MB
    CECHE = 256MB
    CECHG = 256MB
    CECHH = 16MB
    CECHJ = 16MB
    CECHK = 16MB
    CECHL = 16MB
    CECHM = 16MB
    CECHP = 16MB
    CECHQ = 16MB

    If I'm not wrong, the NAND models are the ones having the PS2 emulation.

    Later Fat models (without the PS2 Emulation) and Slim uses a different type of Flash memory though.
