    Coming Soon: Project ProgSkeet

According to PS3Crunch, there is a new Hardware Flasher for the PS3 in the work. The microchip allows you to Flash or Dump your PS3 (NOR and NAND consoles) and even allows you to downgrade from 3.56+ Firmware.

Why are we looking for a downgrade? Sooner or later we would get bored of 3.55 and the people would start rushing the scene even more. I believe the Scene should concentrate more on an upgrade than on a downgrade.

You have no idea how old that saying is getting. If a way to run a MFW higher than 3.55 is found it will posted everywhere. Remember the ps3 went unhacked for almost four years Everyone should be greatful that 3.55 MFW and lower even exists

I understand that. And I am truly happy, but I think it is time we get something other then a downgrade.

Yes, it will be wonderful if/when it happens, but repeating it is what gets old. Just chill out and accept that it will happen when it happens. It's been asked for and suggested enough for even my dead cats to have heard it lol

Nice to see good developement of FPGA boards

They are so much better than Infectus2 for reflashing.

You should take into consideration all the unfortunate people that had the luck of purchasing a console with 3.56+ pre-installed. It isn't their fault they don't have homebrew, granted they could probably sell their consoles for used ones with 3.15-3.55, they deserve homebrew just as much as the next.

Correct me if I'm wrong but that never happened. The bootloader was dumped, that doesn't mean we have the keys.

The first new development we had with the original PSJB and clones was a downgrade. History repeats itself

Nice job, I did read somewhere the gitbrew boys handed over the 3.56+ hack to another team. I think we know now who they are
