I don't see how 'emulating' a hard drive would do anything.

Also there is no BD drive plugged in.

These are not jailbreaks, these are piracy cash grabs.

Whether or not it is real is not the point, what is the point is that the term jailbreak is being converted to piracy enabler more than ever before with these types of devices...

Personally, I think this is just a load of bull though.

The team wanted my opinion on how to release the method to the public, so i don't know.

What is so hard about marketing a product?

Are they selling or just 'releasing'.

I doubt it will be free.

How much stock do they have? How are they going to receive money (can't use paypal due to piracy - if they do, they will be risking all their profit).

What shipping company will they use? Have they contacted one to organise a better rate?

Do they have a website? Online store? Secondary payment system?

Illustrations, instructions, packaging, case and so on...

If they can make this device, surely they can do all of this

Doesn't look like it, super slims are quite a bit different. Plus I can see the plugs for the BD.

    For reference:

That seems strange, if mM is indeed installed on a 4K system, why the need for the ODE?

If this is real, it should have been shown on a vanilla 4K system

Interesting, reminds me of the pass through images we saw a while back for a modded HDD.

Is it currently using Pi to run/pass through?

Perhaps they used this method to run socom backup with modded PKG file to install mM rather than whatever the original socom pkg was... could use AC3 for that too install mm.pkg instead of ac1.pkg...

Cant work out if mM would be useless on this though, would it work in current state? using syscalls instead of peek/poke?

I thought Pi for a second, then realised it wasn't.
    Not sure what it is.
