No, you can run Vhbl if you can get a exploitable game though, which you won't currently as Sony has already patched / removed the games from the PSN store.

The Vita's security is stronger than the security on the PS3 supposedly. So hacking it will take a long, long time.

There are no native Vita hacks. In order to find a kernel exploit, you need a kernel exploit (it's a circle) and unlike the PSP, Sony didn't mess up on release of the console. There is at least one person out there with a Vita dev unit,

Yifanlu's UVL is a VHBL for the Vita. Usermode only and has not been used yet publicly. Whether or not there is a usermode exploit out on the vita, I have not heard any one having one.

    Here's something depressing:

Contrary to popular belief, Sony does not care about psp exploits more than we care about mosquitoes. They'll squash any exposed bugs but won't invest the time to make sure more font show up.
Though that's not quite as bad as:

Does it mean that UVL is now patched in one of the latest firmwares? It's really unfortunate if this is a case If this isn't a secret consider telling us what is the last firmware number on which you were able to use it. Does it require access to PSN or maybe there is still a hope for it if someone has Vita with older firmware? I assume that some people would like to stay on older FWs if there is even a small chance for native Vita hb support sometime in the future.
The UVL I've showed running a long time ago has long since been patched. That is all I'm willing to say. If we get homebrew on the vita it will be someone far smarter and more skilled than me.
So what holes there were that were known to Yifanlu, they have been closed and it does not seem like there is a way to use UVL now.
