This is pretty cool. On of the best home brew out. If I can recall. Sony said they couldn't do it because of ram limitations. Is there a cpu ram meter our there. Id love to see

This was one of my favorite plugins on the PSP. I've been waiting for this. Now I can play Diablo and my girlfriend can have her music. Ill have to test it on my slim 2001a with cobra-rogero.

I thought it was because of copyright stuff and decided to just leave it up to the people that made the games :o

I don't think we'd of ever seen these except for the release of the PRX plugins, and everything it gave the rise too. Instead of coding from bottom up everything required to allow music in all games, a developer was able to take the groundwork provided, and just develop the plugin. It's like the difference between building a house from the bottom up. PRX work was the foundation, framing, roof, etc. Plugin was just adding dry board and some finishing touches.

Both very important steps, but music plugin would of never been developed without that foundation.

now add a low memory voicechat function and sony would be very emberrased by not being able to provide it where homebrew did.
but i do wonder how this will work correctly with games like last of us and beyond two souls which already would tax the system...

Works great. Only plugins I have running are this and webman. Been blasting pantera and running dungeons on Diablo III. Great job to all involved in ps3 plugins.

That's what I was thinking. Didn't Microsoft have the patent for in game music?

    Great to see that.
For me more important would be to emulate in background sixaxis signals to allow USB keyboard and mouse usage in FPV shooters.
Now I use GimX with laptop - and that works great - but anyway - would be nice to have in inside...
Gimx runs even on small raspberry pi - so I think there is not to much processing power needed to emulate...

Don't get me wrong - i am not complaining - just was not aware that it is possible to run something in background at all - and seeing this news - that was first idea

    HAPPY NEW YEAR
