    PSP "Lego set"

So I was looking for a battery for my PSP and found a guy selling a whole PSP-3004 disassembled for about €10 ($13). The battery was working, that was what I was looking for. He didn't promise all parts would be good though, but I set myself to re-assemble it, for the sake of it.

    I bought it like this:

And it is currently like this:

I don't know where does two parts in the top left corner are from though, can you help me figure it out?

I found the bigger one, is beneath the board.
The smaller one, can't find it out, but it has a ribbon cablle, and there is still a slot in the board, so I assume there.

I found the USB entrace is broken from the board, I I have no soldering iron...

    Update: job done.

    Doesn't boot up though ;_;

Guess it I'll save it for parts, or sell it for parts...
Does any PSP 300X part works on a 100X model?
If not, oh, well, at least I can make a small profit.

Like @tjhooker said, maybe you missed something.

I would go over it a few more times before throwing in the towel.

Also, no PSP 3k isn't compatible with the 1k in terms of parts.

    Nexus 4

I disassemble it and reassemble it 2 more times, still the same: the power light goes gree, but the PS doesn't boot up

I spoke to the guy that sold me, and spoke to the original owner. The console originally also stopped booting and he sent it for repair. They took a few months and the guy got mad about it and demanded it back as it was, eventually gave it to his friend, who eventually sold me the console.

thats good so we've confirmed its not bricked, so thats a good sign

    try this...

    1. if you have a memory card in the psp remove it

    2. remove battery and plug in AC power

    3. hold down the following... START, SELECT, SQUARE and TRIANGLE (all at the same time) and turn psp on remember to continue holding the buttons down while it turns on (this will reset Flash1 causing it to factory reset)

after doing that let me know what happens
