Thread: Problems after removing E3 Linker

Hi,
Removed my E3 linker yesterday and now my PS3 powers with no video or hdd activity. I have read about bricks after flashing but I never flashed my PS3 and I do not have any original dumps. Do I need to reconnect the point either side of the cut trace and if so will this fix the problem.

I also had the same problem. I was trying to downgrade a ps3 slim CECH 2003. but later i realised that the motherboard am working on was switched. it wasn't a cech 2003 but rather a CECH 250.A or B which has minver. 3.60 and not downgradable. i made 4 backups which are identical but did not flash anything to the console. when i realised the machine wasn't downgradable, i decided to uninstall the e3 linker and the ps3 got the GLOD. so after reading this post, i re-soldered the linker and now ps3 displays "cannot Start. The appro...." now what should i do next?

You need to reattach the HDD. That would sort it.
